Trek Metals Obtains Niobium Project Adjacent to Luni Discoverys Strike Zone

Oct 04, 2023

Trek Metals Limited (ASX: TKM) has expanded its Australian battery metals portfolio by acquiring a promising niobium exploration project located in the core of the West Arunta Critical Minerals Province. Through a Binding Heads of Agreement, Trek Metals has secured an 80% interest in Exploration Licence Application ELA 33191 in the Central Australia region of West Arunta.

The application area is highly prospective for various elements, including Niobium (Nb). ELA 33191 is situated along the same geological formation as WA1 Resources' high-grade Luni niobium-carbonatite discovery within its West Arunta Project. Recent tenement applications made by WA1 Resources adjacent to ELA 33191 further emphasize the prospectivity of the area. This presents a cost-effective opportunity for Trek Metals to assess the potential establishment of a new, globally significant critical minerals province.
