Top End Energy Appoints Luke Velterop as CEO to Drive Growth

Top End Energy (ASX: TEE) has appointed Luke Velterop as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Chairman Patrick Burke highlighted Velterop’s strategic vision in the natural hydrogen sector as a key factor in acquiring Serpentine Energy. With experience in traditional and emerging energy sectors, Velterop brings an entrepreneurial mindset to lead TEE’s next growth phase.

Velterop joined TEE in December 2024 through the Serpentine Energy acquisition. He has extensive leadership experience in the U.S. natural hydrogen sector, serving as Founding Director of Serpentine Energy and former COO at HyTerra. His background includes geology, oil and gas drilling operations, and project management. Since shifting focus to clean hydrogen in 2020, he has been at the forefront of new energy developments. Velterop is committed to unlocking the transformative value of natural hydrogen for the company.
