Australian mineral resources company Todd River Resources (ASX: TRT) has successfully completed the acquisition of three lithium exploration projects located in the Northwest Territories of Canada. The projects, namely the Ross Lake Lithium Project, the MAC Lithium Project, and the Halo-Yuri Lithium Project, cover a total area of approximately 500 square kilometers, making Todd River Resources the company with the largest lithium exploration footprint in the Northwest Territories among ASX-listed companies.
The acquisition involved the issuance of 340,600,000 fully paid ordinary shares and 500,000,000 performance rights. The company has also completed a placement, raising a total of $4.8 million, which will be used for exploration, development, and general working capital purposes. Todd River Resources is optimistic about the future prospects of the acquired projects and plans to commence targeted drilling in 2024.
