The Star Entertainment Group provides an update on its expected FY2022 revenue

The Star Entertainment Group Limited (ASX: SGR) provided an update on its expected FY2022 revenue and early FY2023 trading performance.

Depending on the completion of the external audit and finalisation of the financial statements for FY22, The Star anticipates its normalised revenue to be approx. AU$1.53 billion in the 12 months to 30 June 2022.

During the June Quarter, domestic revenue recovered strongly, with all properties opened unrestrictedly. Domestic revenue in the June quarter increased 11% on pre-COVID levels to AU$512 million, with slots revenue increased 28% and non-gaming revenue improved by 26%. But domestic table revenue had not fully recovered but was within 5% of pre-COVID levels.

Further, the company is likely to complete the sale of the first tranche of the Treasury assets in Brisbane in 1HFY23 for approx. AU$170 million.
