YPB Group Limited (ASX: YPB), a company specializing in authentication and consumer engagement solutions, has secured a binding commitment for an AU$1.5 million placement from a Sophisticated s708 Investor, Mr Jii Wei-Tend Si Smith Chin. This follows a previous commitment of the same amount announced on July 5th. Additionally, the company plans to issue 750 million shares at a share price of 0.002 per fully paid ordinary share, bringing the total commitments to AU$3 million.
This second Placement involves issuing 750 million fully paid ordinary shares to investor Chang Ping (Helen) Ding at AU$0.002 per share, approved at a shareholder meeting in May 2024. The funds raised will support various purposes such as Technical Development, Working Capital, Trade creditors, Corporate Development, and Marketing activities. Upon full payment by July 19th, 2024, the New Shares will be issued, with expectations of issuance within three days of receiving the funds.
