XTC Lithium Limited (ASX: XTC) announced the results of an auger drilling program conducted across the E77/2584 tenement within its Southern Cross package. The program involved sampling 501 drill holes that targeted gold trends along the Boodarding prospect, located near Marvel Loch and west of the Yilgarn Star gold mine. The drilling covered approximately 3.4 km of strike within the Archean Southern Cross Greenstone Belt, revealing gold anomalies of up to 374.5 ppb Au.
Notably, nine contiguous samples from the central area exceeded 100 ppb Au, surrounded by a broader halo of lower-grade gold. Moreover, the southwest part of the drilling grid exhibited significant gold anomalies that extended beyond the survey's boundaries. Magnetic anomalies in the region indicate complex faulting and shear features, suggesting potential for vein-hosted gold mineralization. The program also identified a broad anomalous lithium zone in the mid-southwest.
