The additional intersection indicates that there are more than 4 kilometers of Cu-Comet

Dec 09, 2024

Cobre Limited (ASX: CBE) announced positive results from the second completed exploration hole, NCP56, at its wholly owned Ngami Copper Project in Botswana’s Kalahari Copper Belt. Located 2km along strike from NCP55, NCP56 intersected widespread disseminated chalcocite mineralization between 159 and 192m downhole, with grades ranging from 0.1% to 4% chalcocite.

This intersection suggests that the anomalous copper mineralization in NCP42 may extend over 4km, indicating the potential for a new target zone, Cosmos. These results, supported by pXRF measurements, highlight the potential for further mineralization at NCP, building on the previously estimated exploration target of 103 to 166Mt @ 0.38 to 0.46% Cu. Infill drilling at the Comet Target has commenced, with sample assays expected in February 2025.
