Summit Minerals Limited (ASX: SUM) has announced the appointment of Mr. Jiahe "Gower" He as Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"). He held significant roles at Mitsui & Co (Australia) for over 16 years, managing strategic trade and investment activities across various commodities, including Lithium, Nickel, and other battery-related minerals. His responsibilities included overseeing Mitsui's West Australian Metals and Minerals unit and engaging with local and global stakeholders in the mining industry.
During his tenure at Mitsui, Gower actively participated in trade and investment activities with Australian lithium miners. He collaborated with Chinese converters, downstream players, and OEMs in China, Japan, Korea, Europe, and the US within the Electric Vehicle (EV) value chain. Subsequently, he served as an Executive Director of Delta Lithium (ASX: DLI), contributing significantly to the company's evolution from a junior gold explorer to a recognized Australian Lithium player.
