Strategic Energy Resources Identifies Major Polymetallic Anomalies at South Cobar.

Strategic Energy Resources Limited (ASX: SER) has identified two significant polymetallic anomalies at Mt Tooronga within its South Cobar Project in New South Wales. The Heilia Prospect spans 2.2km x 1.5km and is dominated by Pb-Zn, while the Miti Prospect, covering 1.5km x 1.2km, is gold-rich. These anomalies exhibit a Cobar-style Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu-Au elemental signature, and an Induced Polarisation (IP) survey is now underway to refine drill targets. The project, covering 273km, has demonstrated strong potential following a successful 25-hole drill program at the Achilles Prospect in 2024. 

The reconnaissance soil geochemistry survey at Mt Tooronga, completed last year, utilized the Ultrafine+ technique, identifying compelling targets. An infill soil sampling and rock chip program was conducted in January, with results expected next month. Data from the IP survey and soil assays will guide the next phase of drilling at South Cobar, reinforcing the region's untapped polymetallic potential.
