Strategic Elements Ltd (ASX: SOR) announced the Australian Research Council (ARC) Industry Fellowship awarded to Professor Dewei Chu from UNSW, recognizing his pioneering work with Energy InkTM technology. The fellowship, spanning four years, endorses Professor Chu's expertise in harnessing electrical energy from moisture for the Australian Advanced Materials (AAM) project.
This prestigious ARC Industry Fellowship, a product of rigorous competition, fosters collaboration between eminent Australian researchers and industry partners. Professor Chu will lead an interdisciplinary team within the AAM project, focusing on functional materials, computational materials science, and solution-based nanodevices. Their mission: developing self-powered small devices and sensors, addressing industry needs. Leveraging UNSW's cutting-edge facilities encompassing nanoionics materials fabrication, electronic printing, and characterization technology, the ARC will contribute approximately AU$1,020,000 in funding, complemented by AU$800,000 from AAM over the fellowship's duration.
