Stage 5 drilling at the Dittmer Gold Project has begun

Ballymore Resources (ASX: BMR) has commenced a Stage 5 diamond drilling campaign at its Dittmer Gold Project near Proserpine, North Queensland. Managing Director David A-Izzeddin highlighted the project's resilience and said underground access has continued operations despite recent heavy rainfall. The historic Dittmer Mine, which had never been drilled before Ballymore's 2020 exploration, has yielded 42 successful drill holes, all intersecting gold mineralisation.

Ballymore's drilling has identified high-grade extensions of the Duffer Lode, historically producing 54,500 oz gold at 151 g/t Au, 66 g/t Ag, and 2.8% Cu (after hand sorting). The 2,000m Stage 5 program will focus on infill and step-out drilling, supporting a preliminary Mineral Resource estimate and mining scoping studies. With gold prices near all-time highs, Ballymore sees a potential near-term mining restart, offering significant value to shareholders. The drilling is expected to be completed in two months.
