St George Mining Discovers Promising Mineralization at Ajana Project

St George Mining Limited (ASX: SGQ) has reported promising findings in its inaugural drilling at the Ajana Project in Western Australia, unveiling significant zinc, lead, and silver mineralization. Multiple drill holes at the Perseverant Prospect yielded positive results, including AJRC002, which featured 5m of 1.23% Zn + Pb and 7.2g/t Ag from 57m. These findings have invigorated the company to launch a diamond drill program to further investigate the mineralization's structural characteristics. The drilling results suggest excellent potential across the entire Ajana Project area, particularly at Perseverant, where high-grade intersections span a 2.2km x 2.5km area.

These discoveries align with a 25km-long magnetic anomaly, emphasizing the project's potential for significant mineral deposits. St George Mining possesses a substantial landholding of 1,750 km² in the Northampton Mineral Field, presenting a district-scale opportunity. The Ajana Project's unique geological attributes, combined with modern exploration techniques, point to the possibility of near-surface mineralization.
