SRG Global Limited (ASX: SRG) has successfully renewed its long-standing partnership with Transpower New Zealand Limited (Transpower) in a substantial 10-year contract worth approximately NZ$130 million. This renewal further solidifies SRG Global's relationship with Transpower, which spans over three decades.
Under the terms of the contract, SRG Global will provide specialized industrial services, encompassing the removal of existing coatings through advanced blasting techniques, the application of industrial-grade protective coatings, and minor steel replacement work. The contract is set to commence on July 1, 2024, with an initial five-year term, followed by an additional five-year right of renewal, extending through to July 1, 2029. This significant contract underscores SRG Global's expertise in delivering essential maintenance services and its commitment to supporting Transpower's National Grid high-voltage tower network in New Zealand for the foreseeable future.
