Sprintex Limited (ASX: SIX) has introduced its new G15 Turbo Blower, featuring 'Smart Pulse Aeration' (Sprintex SPA™) technology, which has undergone initial testing for energy consumption and wastewater oxygenation efficiency. The blower, designed for general purpose industrial use with power ranging from 3kW to 7kW, demonstrates disruptive potential in the wastewater treatment sector in China and other markets.
SAE standard testing has confirmed that the G15 Turbo Blower surpasses conventional side-channel blowers in terms of energy efficiency. The blower achieves a 27% energy saving in constant speed operation, while incorporating the Sprintex SPA technology results in an impressive 40% energy saving compared to traditional systems. The SPA mode enables the blower to adjust the air output based on water oxygen content, reducing energy waste and ensuring optimal process efficiency. Sprintex has also filed a worldwide patent application for this technology.
