SPQs Initial Assays Confirm Robust Porphyry Copper Mineralization

Superior Resources Limited (ASX: SPQ) reports positive findings from its inaugural drilling campaign at the Cockie Creek Prospect within the Greenvale Project. The first drill hole, CCDD001, has unveiled encouraging porphyry copper mineralization, indicating a well-mineralized Cu-Au-Mo system nearby. Notable results from CCDD001 include 71 meters at 0.48% Cu and 70ppm Mo from a depth of 16 meters, with a particularly promising section of 31 meters at 0.65% Cu and 80ppm Mo starting at 36 meters.

These assays confirm high-grade mineralization within the Resource envelope, which is exposed at the surface and likely one of several hydrothermal fluid pathways originating from a mineralized porphyry core. Further analysis and modelling are underway to guide future drilling towards the porphyry core, the source of surface mineralization. This discovery presents significant potential for expanding the historic Mineral Resource Estimate, emphasizing the untapped opportunities within the prospect.
