Spacetalk Ltd (ASX: SPA) announced the appointment of Simon Crowther as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, effective 6 February 2023.
Former CEO of unicorn Nearmap, Mr. Crowther oversaw the company's development, worldwide expansion, and meteoric rise in market capitalization after succeeding the founder. After Nearmap, he held the position of CEO of Airmap. Most recently, he worked in Silicon Valley as the Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Ventures, focusing on Aerotech & Sustainability. Simon, now located in Vancouver, will move to Australia as part of this role.
