Osmond Resources Limited (ASX:OSM) has expedited its exploration efforts in South Australia following the acquisition and compilation of historical data for the Fowler and Yumbarra Projects. The newly acquired data includes VTEM, MLEM, gravity, drilling, and petrology information. This comprehensive dataset has enabled Osmond to refine and intensify its exploration strategies, potentially reducing the time required for exploration by up to two years.
In the Fowler Project, historical data from Iluka and Doray Minerals has shifted the focus towards targeted exploration after earlier exploration work yielded promising results. At the Yumbarra Project, Osmond has obtained approval for a ground-based gravity survey, aiming to identify potential deep-seated metallic sulphide bodies. The newfound historical data has significantly amplified the value of Osmond's investment in these projects.
