Sky Metals Ltd (ASX: SKY) announced that it has secured binding commitments to raise AU$ 6 million via a share placement to advance the next phase of exploration and development of its flagship 100 %--owned Tallebung Tin Project in central New South Wales.
This placement is designed for institutional, sophisticated, and professional investors, with shares being issued at an attractive AU$0.05 each, creating approximately 120 million new fully paid ordinary shares. The placement will be executed in two tranches: the first tranche of AU$5.45 million will utilize the Company's existing placement capacity according to ASX Listing Rules 7.1 and 7.1A, while the second tranche, amounting to around AU$0.55 million, will be subject to shareholder approval and has already garnered a commitment from the Company's Directors. The board's strong endorsement further reinforces its unwavering belief in the remarkable opportunities the Tallebung Tin Project presents.
