The recent update highlights the successful June-July 2023 scintillometer work program, which has unveiled significant findings. Notably, rock chip samples have shown elevated counts per second (cps) via a hand-held scintillometer (Radiation Solutions 125), signifying notable gamma radioactivity levels surpassing background levels.
Laboratory results from these samples are encouraging, revealing concentrations of up to 1.70% U3O8 (Uranium oxide) and 8.64% V2O5 (Vanadium oxide). Additionally, the project benefits from the ongoing analysis of airborne magnetic and radiometric survey data that spans the entire East Canyon area, with results anticipated in the upcoming weeks.
