Si6 Metals Gears Up for Brazilian Exploration Venture

Si6 Metals Limited (ASX: SI6) has obtained shareholder approval for the acquisition of a 50% interest in four Brazilian exploration projects covering 10 licenses across approximately 17,000 hectares from Foxfire Metals Pty Ltd. The portfolio includes three rare earth elements (REE) licenses in the Poços de Caldas Alkaline Complex and three lithium licenses in the "Lithium Valley."

Si6 plans to commence exploration in 2024, focusing initially on the Caldera REE Project and later on the Lithium Valley projects targeting lithium in spodumene pegmatites and ionic adsorption clay (IAC) rare earth elements. The Caldera Project will undergo field reconnaissance, mapping, and soil sampling to identify auger drilling targets. Si6 aims to capitalize on Brazil's underexplored regions for critical mineral discoveries, with a particular focus on lithium and rare earth elements.
