SHO has signed a five-year agreement with Indosat Ooredoo

SportsHero Limited (ASX: SHO) announced a strategic partnership with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison to market the IGV Family Game Room product in Indonesia. This collaboration will leverage Indosat’s digital platforms, myIM3 and bima+, which have 37.7 million monthly active users combined as of 2023. SportsHero’s CEO, Tom Lapping, expressed excitement about the partnership, emphasizing its potential to accelerate the company’s esports strategy and commercial opportunities in the Indonesian market.

The partnership will launch with a three-month proof of concept campaign in January 2025, offering Indosat customers a 14-day free trial of the game room, followed by a discounted subscription rate of IDR 65,000. The campaign will focus on customer engagement and the future commercial phase. Indosat will also implement Direct Carrier Billing for seamless payments. This collaboration strengthens both companies’ digital portfolios, enhancing user engagement and enabling rapid market penetration for SportsHero.
