Sayona Mining produced 1,200 tonnes of saleable lithium concentrate at NAL

Sayona Mining Limited (ASX: SYA) announced the successful production of the first commercially viable spodumene (lithium) concentrate at its flagship North American Lithium (NAL) mine in Québec, Canada. Commissioning efforts are continuing, with roughly 1,200 tonnes of lithium concentrate, including SC6 (6% lithium grade), produced. The successful production of the first lithium concentrate establishes Sayona's capacity to generate a commercial concentrate.

The reactivation of NAL is proceeding on time and within budget, with the first lithium shipment scheduled for July 2023. The company anticipates overall output for the 1HFY24 to be between 85,000 and 115,000 tonnes
