Sayona Mining award 4-year contract to Quebec company L. Fournier & Fils for mining operations

Sayona Mining Limited (ASX: SYA) is progressing the restart of production at its North American Lithium operations. For this it has awarded a 4-year ~C$200 million contract to Québec company L. Fournier & Fils for mining operations.

As per this contract, Fournier will supervise all stripping and drilling, blasting, loading and transportation of ore and waste rock, the maintenance of mining roads, as well as all other services linked to operations. The drilling & blasting job will be done by another local Québec company, Dynamitage Castonguay.

Operations will start in October 2022. Work at the site will continue for 24 hours and 365 days a year.
