RNU partners with German battery mineral consultant Dorfner ANZAPLAN

Renascor Resources Limited (ASX: RNU) has partnered with German battery mineral consultancy Dorfner ANZAPLAN GmbH through a licensing agreement to implement an eco-friendly purification process for its Purified Spherical Graphite (PSG) manufacturing facility in South Australia. This strategic move follows successful trials on Renascor's Siviour natural flake graphite and subsequent locked-cycle purification tests in 2022, achieving up to 99.99% carbon purity, surpassing the industry standard of 99.95%.

The process also reduces operational risk by minimizing leaching stages and enhances environmental efficiency by lowering water consumption. The newly integrated purification process, informed by Renascor's Battery Anode Material Study, is expected to yield a competitive PSG gross operating cost of US$1,782 per tonne over a decade and US$1,846 per tonne over 40 years.
