Riversgold Limited (ASX: RGL) has successfully concluded its initial diamond drilling program at the Northern Zone Intrusive Hosted Gold Project, situated 26 km east-southeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. The program encompassed the entire central cross-section, drilling to a depth of 450 meters to validate the exploration model. Results surpassed expectations, with visible alteration in all holes exceeding initial projections.
Notably, all four holes were drilled deeper than planned. The objectives of the program included confirming mineralization style, widths, and gold grades, as well as gathering structural orientation information. The extracted core is en route to ALS in Perth for further processing and assay. This milestone marks a crucial step in refining the mineralization envelope's size through enhanced drill design, metallurgical studies, and geophysical analysis, in alignment with the project's progressive goals.
