Rimfire Pacific Mining (ASX: RIM) shares that its initial drill assay results have confirmed exceptional high-grade cobalt sulphide mineralization, coupled with robust copper anomalism, in the first diamond drill hole completed at its 100% owned Bald Hill Cobalt Copper Prospect. This is part of its ambitious 5-hole step-out diamond drilling program, significantly expanding the known sulphide-hosted mineralized footprint. The Bald Hill cobalt-copper prospect now covers a substantial 500m by 200m area.
Assays from hole FI2612 have revealed that Bald Hill boasts some of the most impressive cobalt grades in the entire Broken Hill district. Moreover, the presence of copper in these results underscores the tremendous potential for significant copper mineralization at Bald Hill. The program is eagerly awaiting assay results from the remaining four holes, all of which have visually similar sulphide mineralization to hole FI2612, with similar tenor results widely anticipated.
