Recharge Metals Limited (ASX: REC) announced it secured a binding agreement to acquire 100% ownership of 26 square kilometers of prime mining claims containing substantial historic uranium resources in the highly productive Powder River Basin, USA. This acquisition encompasses the Carter Uranium Project, strategically located in southeastern Montana, near the Wyoming border, and is easily accessible via US Highway 212, just 75 kilometers from Belle Fourche, South Dakota.

This groundbreaking acquisition propels Recharge into a new era as it now takes ownership of the Carter Uranium Project. Situated on the northern rim of the acclaimed Powder River Basin—an established hub for in-situ recovery uranium production—the project benefits from proximity to six permitted processing plants within 300 kilometers, including the renowned ASX-listed Peninsula Energy. The Acadia Deposit boasts 3.7 million pounds at 1,250 ppm eU3O8, while the Mindy Deposit offers 1.4 million pounds at 1,560 ppm eU3O8. Collectively, these resources position Recharge as a leading player in uranium exploration.
