Rapid Lithium Limited (ASX: PAT) has entered into a binding term sheet with Patriot Lithium Limited (ASX: PAT) to acquire 100% ownership of New Energy (US) Inc., a subsidiary of Patriot Lithium. New Energy (US) Inc. is focused on exploring and developing hard rock lithium resources within the United States, an area of growing strategic importance due to the increasing demand for lithium in the renewable energy sector.
This acquisition aligns with Rapid Lithium’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the lithium industry and secure high-potential assets in North America. By obtaining New Energy’s exploration assets, Rapid Lithium aims to bolster its portfolio and capitalize on the demand for lithium, critical for electric vehicle batteries and energy storage. The acquisition positions Rapid Lithium to further its growth and exploration initiatives, enhancing its potential to supply lithium in the expanding U.S. market.
