QMines Limited (ASX: QML) is a Queensland-based copper and gold exploration company driving the development of the Mt Chalmers and Develin Creek projects. The company recently secured AU$6 million through a strongly supported placement to accelerate exploration and resource expansion.
The funds will support an extensive drilling program at Develin Creek, targeting both infill and extensional drilling to enhance resource estimates. The Mt Chalmers project, a historic high-grade copper-gold mine, has produced 1.2Mt @ 2.0% Cu, 3.6g/t Au, and 19g/t Ag, while both projects collectively hold a Measured, Indicated, and Inferred Resource of 15.1Mt @ 1.3% CuEq.
