Propel Funeral announces three key acquisitions

On February 13th, 2023, Propel Funeral Partners Limited (ASX: PFP) announced that it has acquired two funeral service businesses and one pet cremation business, along with related assets, real estate, and infrastructure for up to approximately AU$36.9 million. The acquisitions will expand Propel's network in Australia and New Zealand, enabling the company to enter new markets in Adelaide, Hamilton, and Auckland.

The three acquisitions include Alfred James & Sons, Seddon Park Funeral Home (incorporating Sadliers Funeral Services), and Pets at Rest. Alfred James has been providing funeral and related services to client families in and around Adelaide, South Australia, for over a century, while Seddon Park has been serving client families in and around Hamilton and Morrinsville, New Zealand, for about 30 years. Pets at Rest has provided pet loss services to clients in and around Auckland for over two decades.
