Promising Discovery in Phase 3 Drilling at Lei Prospect

May 30, 2023

Lithium Plus Minerals Limited (ASX: LPM) has achieved a notable breakthrough in its Phase 3 diamond drilling campaign at the Lei Prospect. The first drill hole, BYDD011, intercepted a wide pegmatite interval measuring 43.0 meters from 443.0 meters to 486.0 meters. This finding provides a strong indication of the extension of the Lei pegmatite system at depth, below the 2022 intersection.

The discovery of the wide pegmatite interval in BYDD011 suggests the potential for a significant lithium deposit at the Bynoe Project. The core sample obtained from the drill hole has been sent to the Lithium Plus facility in Darwin for detailed analysis and sampling. The company eagerly awaits assay results while continuing their drilling program, which includes the upcoming use of a RAB rig. They remain optimistic about the potential to define a maiden lithium resource by the fourth quarter of 2023.
