Pointerra Awarded AU$1.63 Million Contract by US Department of Energy

Pointerra Limited (ASX: 3DP) has been awarded a US$1.63 million (AU$2.47 million) contract by the US Department of Energy (DOE) for an R&D program. The program will see Pointerra collaborate with select Northeast US region electric utilities and university partners to develop advanced modeling and analytics capabilities for electric grid infrastructure.

This contract award builds on Pointerra’s existing relationships with major US utility customers, such as Florida Power & Light, where the company's 3D data processing and analytics platform has delivered quantified outcomes regarding material time and cost savings. This contract further validates Pointerra’s technology and ability to support the modernization and resilience efforts underway across the US utility sector.
