Pro Medicus Limited (ASX: PME) has made a significant announcement regarding its U.S. subsidiary, Visage Imaging, Inc., which has inked a substantial AU$140 million contract with Baylor Scott & White Health (BSWH). BSWH, a major Texas-based non-profit healthcare system, will implement the Visage 7 Enterprise Imaging Platform extensively in a decade-long deal.
Visage will lead the migration, transitioning BSWH from its various legacy Radiology and Cardiology PACS archives and vendor-neutral archives to the Visage 7 Open Archive. Furthermore, Visage 7 will seamlessly integrate with BSWH's electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring enterprise-wide image distribution. This milestone solidifies PME's position in North American integrated delivery networks (IDN) and academic medical centers, marking another step in its rapid expansion. The contract is structured on a transactional model with potential additional benefits, reinforcing PME's presence in the healthcare sector.
