Pilot Energy Limited (ASX: PGY) announced that it had secured commitments of AU$4.0 million in placement from sophisticated, institutional, and professional investors. Strong investor interest in the placement supported the Company's strategic focus on developing the Mid-West Clean Energy Project in Western Australia.

This placement follows a significant milestone in the Mid-West Clean Energy Project announced on 13 June 2024, with the Declaration of Greenhouse Gas Storage Formation for the Cliff Head Carbon Storage Project. This declaration is one of the first for an offshore carbon storage project in Australia. It provides confidence in the Australian regulatory regime, reducing risks for potential international project partners.
