Peter Warren Automotive Holdings Limited (ASX: PWR) is set to acquire four dealerships in Macarthur, New South Wales, as part of its strategic consolidation plan. The dealerships include Macarthur Mazda, Macarthur MG, Macarthur Nissan, and Macarthur LDV. The acquisition, valued at approximately AU$27 million, will be funded through a combination of existing cash and debt. The four new brands aim to complement Peter Warren's existing operations in Western Sydney.
The transaction, subject to OEM approvals, is expected to be immediately EPS accretive after funding costs. The current operational management will stay in place, with Mazda's Dealer Principal holding a minority shareholding. Peter Warren sees this acquisition as a stepping stone for future growth and diversification across all segments of the automotive market. The businesses being acquired generate a turnover of AU$140 million and employ around 80 people.
