Perenti Limited (ASX: PRN) announced that its subsidiary Barminco had secured a 12-month contract extension at the Newcrest Mining Limited, Red Chris mine in British Columbia, Canada. Newcrest and Imperial Metals Corporation is a 70:30 joint venture for Red Chris mine.
This contract extension helps Barminco to provide approximately AU$90 million of revenue over the 12-month contract term. The Managing Director & CEO of Perenti said that their strategy is to partner with tier-one operators and long-life assets in North America where they can add value over the long term.
