Patriot Resources Limited (ASX: PAT) has announced a transformational acquisition, securing 100% ownership of the high-grade Tassa Silver-Gold Deposit in Peru through the purchase of Colque Holdings Pty Ltd. The agreement includes the issue of 20 million shares and a reimbursement of US$500,000, with additional milestone-based share payments tied to JORC-compliant resource definition. Tassa has already delivered exceptional drill results from 26 diamond holes totalling 8,474.5m, including standout silver intercepts such as 60m @ 224.20 g/t Ag, 4m @ 919.50 g/t Ag, and multiple high-grade gold intervals, indicating strong multi-commodity mineralisation potential.
The project is strategically positioned next to Buenaventura’s San Gabriel Gold Mine, set for production in late 2025, further enhancing regional value. Patriot’s Chairman highlighted that this acquisition significantly strengthens the company’s diversified portfolio spanning lithium in Canada and copper assets in Zambia. With multiple mineralised zones already defined, the upcoming 2026 drill program is expected to advance resource delineation and unlock the broader scale of this promising silver-gold system.
