Patriot Lithium Limited (ASX: PAT) has officially launched the next phase of their geological exploration at the Gorman Project, situated in Ontario, Canada. This marks the initiation of Phase 3 in their ongoing geochemistry and geological mapping program. In the previous phase, Patriot successfully collected high-grade outcrop rock samples, containing as much as 3.71% Li2O, from the lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite trend at Gorman.
The Phase 3 endeavour involves a comprehensive sampling effort encompassing soil, rock chips, and sawn channels. Its primary objectives are to refine and expand the understanding of mineralized zones and to detect additional spodumene mineralization within the area. This phase is projected to take approximately three weeks to conclude. Furthermore, it's worth highlighting the strategic location of Gorman, which is just 68 kilometers from Frontier Lithium's renowned PAK-Spark lithium project. Frontier Lithium recently reported significant intercepts, emphasizing the prospectivity of the region.
