Omega Oil and Gas (ASX: OMA) announced the appointment of Mr. Trevor Brown as the new Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective immediately. Mr. Brown brings over 30 years of extensive experience in the petroleum and gas industry, with a strong background in upstream exploration, appraisal, development, and production.

His leadership and expertise have been demonstrated through his successful oversight of the upstream division of the US$18.5 billion Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas Project as Vice President – Queensland for Santos. The company is confident that Mr. Brown's impressive track record and deep industry knowledge will drive Omega's continued success in oil and gas.
