Odessa Accelerates Exploration for Lithium and REE Targets in Gascoyne Region

Odessa Minerals Limited (ASX:ODE) has provided an update on its exploration efforts at the Gascoyne, Lockier Range, and Gascoyne East projects in Western Australia. The Lockier Range Lithium and Rare Earth Element (REE) Project, covering 125 km² within a vast 3,000 km² Gascoyne tenement package, is a key focus. Following the appointment of an exploration manager, Odessa has initiated an accelerated exploration program. The project shows promise due to its geological similarities to nearby lithium discoveries by Delta Lithium (ASX:DLI).

The work program includes detailed soil sampling, mapping, surface rock sampling, and the identification of initial drill locations for lithium and REE targets. Similarly, work is underway at Lockier Range's Mt Yaragner Rare Earth Carbonatite Targets, where anomalous REE has been identified in association with thorium radiometric anomalies. Moreover, Odessa is set to explore the Gascoyne East Regional Target area, covering intersections of major regional structures. The company aims to conduct Aircore drilling in obscured bedrock geology areas. David Lenigas, Executive Director of Odessa, emphasized the upcoming intense exploration efforts and detailed mapping of target sites.
