Oceana Lithium appoints Caue Araujo as CEO from September 11, 2023

Oceana Lithium Limited (ASX: OCN) announces the appointment of Mr. Caue Araujo as Chief Executive Officer, effective starting September 11, 2023. Mr. Araujo brings a wealth of experience to this role, being a qualified Australian-Brazilian geologist with a strong background in the mining industry.

His career journey includes valuable stints at Vale in Brazil, early in his training, and later holding key positions such as General Manager of SRK Consulting Brazil, Regional Director of Investment and Business Planning at Hatch for Australia and Asia, and most recently, Global General Manager – Mine Finance at Palaris Australia. Throughout his career, Caue has excelled in the technical and economic evaluation of mineral resource projects, collaborating closely with finance providers and equity investors, particularly within the lithium sector.
