Norway Launches Fast Track Mining for Critical Minerals

The Norwegian government has launched a Fast Track Mining initiative aimed at securing critical minerals, reducing reliance on non-European supply chains, and promoting sustainability. The strategy includes expediting mineral extraction, mapping mineral deposits using geophysical techniques, and prioritizing environmental considerations. In order to guarantee the success of the initiative, the government is exploring the possibility of creating a Norwegian state mineral fund to attract private investment.
