North Stawell Minerals Discovers Visible Gold at Darlington Project.

North Stawell Minerals (ASX: NSM) has reported a significant discovery of visible gold (VG) at its Darlington Project in Victoria, Australia. The gold was found within a siliceous stock-worked fault breccia at a depth of 107.5–110m in drill hole NSD057, situated 120m southeast of the previous southernmost hole. This intercept is approximately 70m west of the known Darlington mineralized trend, indicating the potential for an offset or a new zone. While the presence of visible gold is promising, the company emphasizes that visual observations are not a substitute for laboratory assays, which are expected in April 2025. 

The Darlington prospect is part of NSM’s broader exploration strategy targeting Stawell-type gold mineralization. Executive Director Campbell Olsen expressed optimism about the unexpected intercept, noting its geological similarities to the historic Darlington Mine. Further updates will follow upon completion of geological logging and assay analysis.
