Nimy Resources Limited (ASX: NIM) announced it has received firm commitments for an AU$1.217 million placement. The placement involves issuing 24.34 million shares at 5 cents per share to sophisticated, professional, and otherwise exempt investors, including the company's directors. The funds raised from the placement, combined with the company's existing cash reserves, will be used for drilling campaigns at Masson Discovery, Block 3, and Vera's Gossan Prospect, electromagnetic surveys at these locations, induced polarization surveys at Block 3 Prospect, and for working capital purposes.
The strong support from existing and new shareholders for this placement demonstrates investors' confidence in the company's ongoing exploration activities. This reaffirms its commitment to its shareholders as it progresses into the next drilling stage in three targets across multiple commodities, such as copper, nickel, cobalt, and PGEs.
