Neurizon Passes Halfway Mark in ALS Trial Recruitment and Dosing
Neurizon Therapeutics Limited (ASX: NUZ) has reached an important clinical development milestone, with more than 50% of participants now dosed in the HEALEY ALS Platform Trial evaluating NUZ-001 as a potential treatment for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). The achievement follows a recent increase in the study size from 160 to 240 participants, driven by stronger-than-anticipated recruitment activity. By early June 2026, 167 patients had been allocated to the treatment arm, while 129 had already received dosing across a growing network of clinical sites in the United States. The progress reflects efficient trial execution, strong participation from clinical investigators, and continued engagement from the ALS community. The expanded study is expected to generate a broader and more meaningful clinical dataset while preserving the original trial design objectives. With enrolment and dosing continuing to advance at a faster pace than initially anticipated, Neurizon remains well positioned to complete dosing in 2027 and progress toward the release of key trial results thereafter.
