Mont Royal Resources Limited (ASX: MRZ) has achieved significant progress in Phase Two of its lithium exploration efforts at the Bohier Project in Quebec, located within the Upper Eastmain Greenstone Belt of Canada. Comprehensive exploration activities, such as trenching, sampling, ground geophysics, and LiDAR surveys, were meticulously conducted to pinpoint drill-ready sites for the upcoming winter season.
The standout samples, displaying impressive grades like 6.05m @ 1.78% Li2O, 7m @ 1.71% Li2O, and 1m @ 1.97% Li2O, were given top priority. Notably, ground geophysics extended the lithium target area by 500 meters southwest, linking with additional spodumene-bearing pegmatite. Concurrently, preparations are underway for a winter 2023/24 lithium drilling initiative aimed at assessing advanced targets at Bohier. This phase of work encompassed a gravimetry survey, coinciding with trenching and channel sampling at the Bohier pegmatite, initially discovered during the inaugural lithium prospecting phase in July/August 2023.
