Mount Ridley Mines Ltd (ASX: MRD) has completed a rock chip reconnaissance program at its Weld Range West Iron Project in Western Australia, identifying iron assays up to 62.03% Fe. A total of 146 rock chip samples were collected, targeting key Banded Iron Formation (BIF) units, with the Wilgie Mia and Lulworth sub-units showing the most promising results. Further sampling and exploration are planned to assess the potential for high-grade hematite mineralization.
Additionally, the company has engaged a geological consultant to review its Mount Ridley Rare Earths Project, aiming to optimize tenement holdings while maintaining a long-term strategic focus on rare earth elements (REE). Mount Ridley remains committed to exploring its portfolio while monitoring market conditions for future opportunities.
