Mont Royal Resources Limited (ASX: MRZ) has reported early exploration success in the Bohier and Eastmain Leran projects within the Upper Eastmain Greenstone Belt, Quebec, Canada. In the Bohier project, they have identified outcropping Spodumene-bearing pegmatites, with two distinct outcrops, each spanning 30m² and 45m², located 16m apart in a 500m-wide greenstone unit extending 15km on the property. At Eastmain Leran, a significant pegmatite boulder field has been found up-ice of a known Li-pegmatite boulder, suggesting the source is nearby in the greenstones, covering approximately 400m² with lithium pegmatite boulders up to 4m-wide.
Mont Royal has expedited grab samples from these areas for chemical assay analysis, with results expected in 2-4 weeks. A second-phase program is scheduled for mid-September, including trenching, gravimetry survey, LIDAR, and detailed prospection to expand the footprint of these promising discoveries. Mont Royal is committed to advancing its exploration program, focusing on drill-ready targets in the upcoming autumn exploration season. Initial results will be released promptly upon receipt from Actlabs in Val d'Or, Quebec.
