MMA Offshore Ltd (ASX: MRM) announced that it has been awarded three contracts to assist offshore windfarm expansions in Taiwan during 2023. The three contracts, with firm periods totalling 370 days, will enhance the company's contractual revenue by about AU$30 million and provide for an additional AU$15 million in potential revenue. The MMA Pinnacle will deploy from Singapore to Taiwan in March 2023 to assist Seaway 7 with a windfarm construction project. The contract has a fixed term of 180 days with 90-day extension options.
In Taiwan, the MMA Prestige will provide walk-to-work accommodation support for wind turbine maintenance operations. The contract is planned to begin in the second quarter of 2023 for a time period of 130 days, with an additional 60 days available through extension options.
The MMA Crystal, which includes an integrated ROV, has also been contracted to do cable trenching and survey support work. This contract will start in April 2023 for a fixed duration of 60 days, with a 30-day extension option.
