Mineral Resources reported an underlying EBITDA of AU$939 million in 1HFY23

Mineral Resources Limited (ASX: MIN) announced its financial results for the first half of the year ended on 31 December 2022:

• The Company reported an impressive growth in underlying earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, amortisation and impairment (Underlying EBITDA), with a total of AU$939 million, representing a notable increase of 503% compared to the prior corresponding period (pcp).

• Additionally, the Group's underlying earnings after tax reached AU$387 million, indicating an impressive AU$423 million increase on pcp.
• The rise in operating cash flow to AU$281 million was due to higher profits and an increase in working capital linked to the conversion of MinRes' spodumene concentrate into lithium hydroxide.
• Additionally, the Board of Directors has announced an interim dividend of AU$1.20 per share for FY23, which will be fully franked and paid on 30 March 2023 to shareholders listed on the register by 10 March 2023.
